The Academic Year is split into two semesters:

Winter Semester begins each fall in October and goes through February of the next year. This is followed by an approximately 1-month winter holiday.

Summer Semester begins in March and runs through July. This is followed by an approximately 2-month summer holiday.

The Akademie recognizes all German public holidays and there will be no classes on these days.
